Summer is truly with us now. We have blue skies and warm sun, and the garden is at its luxuriant best. In the herb garden and upper terrace plants jostle for space, looked over by the pheasant sculpture, one of our latest arrivals. Below the window to Room 1 the lavender, now in full bloom, soaks up the almost Mediterranean sun and enjoys the warmth radiating from the stone walls. Looking out over the bay small boats can be seen hauling crab/lobster pots or netting wild salmon, both of which appear on menus in local restaurants. Right now there is no better place to stay. We still have vacancies in late July and August, so why not come and see why we are so in love with this place.
