Easter Already

This year has raced by so far and Easter is almost upon us. We have had an eventful couple of months with internet problems and beef supply problems, interspersed with an enjoyable short break in Florence with our family. We now have internet connection again, faster and more stable than ever before, so we can again offer our guests wi-fi facilities. Apologies must go to our customers for the failure to have fresh beef supplies in April, the steer that we had selected to provide the beef had other ideas and refused to be loaded into the trailer. He charged back to the shed where he had been for a week or so previously, flattening Alan in the process, and second time of trying he cleared a loading gate and took himself back to the field where he had spent the winter. We will, however have fresh beef in May and will be at the Food Market in Malton on the 13th May. The countryside is now looking very spring-like, and our garden is a riot of spring flowers and fresh growth on shrubs and trees. The weather has been kind - and looks set to remain so - and we have been able to enjoy sitting out in the garden on a number of occasions, taking in our stunning view. We still have some vacancies for Easter, and don't forget that for the third year running the Tour de Yorkshire passes the top of our drive at the summit of the last "King of the Mountains" stage on the first day, 28th April. If you are fancying treating yourself to a break just check availability on our room calendars and book online - it couldn't be simpler. If you prefer not to use the online system just give us a ring.Problems loading!

Tour De Yorkshire 2016

Less than two weeks to go now and we still have one room available for the weekend of the Tour De Yorkshire. Once again the tour passes the end of our access, right at the top of the demanding climb from Robin Hood's Bay. Why not book now and see Bradley Wiggins and other big name riders tackling this testing hill? Bring your bike if you want and ride part of the route yourself - we have secure bike storage for our guests' use.Tackling the climb from Robin Hood's Bay

Spring is here

We have had some glorious early spring days that have allowed us to press on with pruning, planting and tidying up in the garden to help ensure that it is at its best for our guests. Why not come and see for yourself, perhaps with an Easter break? Robin Hood's Bay is wonderful all the year round, and is a perfect base for seeing the Flying Scotsman on the North York Moors Railway this month or the Tour de Yorkshire at the end of April.Early Spring in the Garden
