This is the ‘white time’ of year, a special time, and just the time for a short break at Robin Hood’s Bay. The hawthorn in the hedgerows is coming into blossom, adding to the white frothiness of the cow parsley along the verges and banks. Soon our few sheep will be shorn revealing their bright white under-fleece, until now hidden by their thick winter coats, making them shine out against the fresh green grass. Come and see for yourself, and enjoy all of the area’s other attractions – including quiet walks along the beaches, walks through some of the most beautiful countryside in England, and exploring the quaint streets and yards of ‘Bay Town’. So much quieter and more enjoyable now that half-term has been and gone.
