Looking Ahead

Time flies by and it's hard to believe that summer has slipped by and we are now into the season of mists, mellow fruitfulness and muddy dogs. Autumn has consolations however in its colours which are now developing in the trees and shrubs - even the bracken can shine golden when the sun kisses its dying fronds.

It has been good to see some of our regular guests return this summer, and to meet others who we hope will come back to see us sometime. We are open until the second week in December, after the Victorian weekend, but have already started thinking about our reopening in February 2022 and how we can continue not only to make our guests welcome but also how we can keep them (and ourselves) safe from Covid.

We have decided that next year we will continue to take precautions as we do now, but in addition, as all adults will have had the opportunity to be vaccinated by February, it will be a condition of booking that all guests are fully vaccinated. Our terms and conditions of booking are being amended to incorporate this change which we hope will be welcomed by all of our guests.
