Winter sunrise at Skerry HallChristmas and New Year holidays are becoming just a distant memory now, and you probably wish you had something to look forward to, particularly with Easter being late this year. Why not treat yourself to a short break / long weekend at Skerry Hall Farm and enjoy the delights of this area out of season? Go on, you deserve it!

At this time of year there are many things to enjoy, and everything is so much quieter. Imagine waking up to a beautiful winter sunrise and enjoying one of our satisfying breakfasts before setting out for the day.  Your day could bring a walk in the countryside or on the beach, or perhaps a visit to Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay, much less crowded at this time of year. There's plenty to see and do both locally and a little further afield, and a meal in a cosy pub with a real fire might round off your day before returning to Skerry Hall Farm. You may loiter to marvel at the sheer number of stars that can be seen in the dark sky here before relaxing in our warm sitting/breakfast room. Or perhaps the comfortable bed in your room might exert a stronger draw!

See our "things to do" page for details of the dark skies festival and other suggestions. Visit our Facebook page for  even more information about what is going on at Skerry Hall Farm,  there's a button that will take you there on this site's homepage.

We have plenty of vacancies at present - see our booking calendars. What's stopping you?!
