Wishing a very Happy Christmas to all.

It seems no time at all since our first guests of 2017 arrived on 4th February, and now we are closed for our Christmas break. How time flies! Once again we have had an enjoyable year running our B&B and have been pleased to welcome back returning guests (who we now regard as friends) and to meet yet more kind and interesting people who we hope might return.

We open for our 2018 season on 27th January, and our booking calendars are 'live' for you to check availability. The winter can be a wonderful time to escape to this part of the coast, and whilst some of the summer attractions may not be available this is more than compensated for by the opportunities to enjoy sightseeing without the crowds and to see a different face of the countryside and coast. Imagine walking on an almost deserted beach, looking for fossils or treasure tossed up by the last tide, walking along old green lanes and trods with the frost patterning the vegetation, calling at one of our good local pubs with an open fire to enjoy an evening meal - and imagine coming back to a warm welcome at Skerry Hall with a cosy room and warm bed for the night, and a superb cooked breakfast! And if you can't manage a short break in the wintertime, now is a good time to book that little holiday later on in the year. Be one of the first to book and don't be disappointed...
