Here's hoping that this new year is a good one for us all!

We are always pleased to share our little bit of heaven in this very special place overlooking the full sweep of Robin Hood's Bay. The peace, serenity, beautiful scenery and our comfortable accommodation are even more important in this troubled world. Tucked away down a half-mile farm track below the moorland's edge, yet less than two miles from the charming and quaint village of Robin Hood's Bay, this is the perfect spot to enjoy this special part of the world.

Who wouldn't want to sit in our lovely cottage garden with its stunning view over the fields to the sea whilst enjoying a slice of homemade cake? Or enjoy a cooked breakfast in our characterful breakfast room  - with local ingredients and including Jan's homemade preserves - before heading out on one of the many walks that can start here. If you want to drive, the historic town of Whitby is only 5 miles away, or you may prefer to explore the beautiful villages of the Esk Valley and the wider national park area.

We know that people want peace of mind when booking a holiday, and we are continuing to be as Covid-safe as possible in welcoming guests this year. In addition to your accommodation being scrupulously cleaned we will continue to check guests' temperatures when they arrive and one of our booking conditions is that all guests must be fully vaccinated. For financial peace of mind if your booking has to be cancelled as a direct result of Covid we will give a full refund.
